“My next studio Album is Hopeless after reaching 150k On Get Up Move Round”.
Smurf made mention that his most popular songs out today are called,
“Get Up Move Round & <3Mary”
and can be found on all music platforms online. During the interview he also mention that his favorite artist are 2Pac, Eminem, Tech N9ne, Ice Cube, Three 6 Mafia. He also stated hat his motivational drive for doing music is his passion to honor the old school of Hip Hop values.
Smurf describes his support system as a working progress. The system he has in place makes him think about accountability, responsible, motivated and determined to be successful. He was also asked what was his political beliefs and he responded,
“F**k the government, I’ma outlaw”!
Whole heartedly. Reports have been confirmed when Smurf let it be know that wen he isn’t working he is in the studio.
Smurf said he would collaborate with Eminem if he were ever offered the chance to hands down without a shadow of doubt. We asked him how did he get the artist name he chose and he responded,
“My name was Ghetto Smurf in high school given to me by my cousins and classmates. The name made it to the urban dictionary. Yes, that was me! I changed my name to Smurf G Da Boss after my best friend Bonez G Da Don passed away in 2005. The acronym means short mean underground rapper forever growth & development alwayz brother of-the same struggle”.
Inspiring as it may seems this breeds talent and the drive to give him the progression that he needs. He later described how music pacts people in their day to day lives as people living in a matrix.
“2004 when My grandmother gave me a cassette recorder to cut my demo after getting out of juvie. I had no idea what I was doing. I had surround sound playing the beat on a cd player pushing the sound into the mic while i recorded over it. Every verse and hook was done in one take. No Punch-ins”!
Was his response after being asked when was the fist time he recorded a song also describing his impactful experience.
We also asked Smurf what does he feel it takes to be a major artist in the industry today and he responded,
“Autotune, a** kissing, skinny jeans and choke collars, lean and mumbling nonsense”.
He speaks every word with a passion as he expresses these things. Smurf made mention that he feels his best quality as a person is his resilience and self reliance. Outside of music Smurf ha a Degree in audio engineering and has his own small business.
“I have an associates degree in audio engineering operating 74 Productionz Studioz out of Clarksville TN. I am currently attending SAE Institute Nashville’s Audio Engineering Bachelor’s Program. After graduation I will return for a 3rd time to claim a Entertainment Business Associates Degree. I Want Success”.
Smurf says he wants to succeed as an local artist and local small business owner. He stated this was his main goal as to were he sees he direction his career is going. He also reveals that his favorite clothing brand are Dickies. Smurf is a traveling artist who has a passion for showcasing his work everywhere he goes and wants to go. We asked him what inspired him to wanna start making music and he responded stating some of 2pac’s lyrics,
“Get up off your a** is you wanna be rich, Thug life”!
Smurf expounded of his thoughts about the importance of me to health,
“As an individual with multiple disabilities one has to seek help to get help. Addiction is a choice, I’m Proof”.
He also clarified that his religion I witchcraft describing himself as a Heathen chanting the phrase,
“Hail Odin”.
We asked Smurf to characterize what genre of music he makes and he responded,
“Crunk. I love Metal, like Ozzy, Rob Zombie, Pantara, Metallica, Marylyn Manson, Motor Head, and Mayhem. I also love NWA, Death Row Records, 2Pac, Wu Tang, 90s Hip Hop. When an artist had to be lyrical and honest and have streets cred”.
He wants all upcoming artist in the industry to know,
“Pay homage to the ones before you, Be yourself, Be Honest”.
“I signed myself to 74 Productionz Studioz as an artist, I signed to my Brother’s Record Label Free Zone Ent. As an Engineer and Im also one of the original members of Street Fame Elite LLC. Only if its Deatg Row Records, hypnotized minds, or strange music. I gotta love the music to sign to a label. Rittz & Yella Wolf killed it down here with Jelly Roll”.
We also asked what’s his favorite song he released in 2021 and he responded,
“Squad is… by Late Street homies from my home area are blowing up In Iowa”.
