Rapper Mun Ruiz describes himself as a down to earth businessman. He made mention within an interview how he came from a poor life and upcoming. As he grew up within his neighborhood he always was surrounded by music then eventually he wanted to step into the music scene himself. He first wanted to be a DJ but once he learned how to write music he took off from there. Mun started making music at the age of 16 years old.
“I never took music serious until my sister passed away. I wrote a song that got allot of people’s attention”.
Once he got to know music more he started to make real investments within his music and releases. Mun speaks of what it means to be a father and a musician. He describes it as a heavy juggle but not one to struggle with. Being a family man and a musician is enough to file a fire that will never be put out no matter how much you try because it will continue to grow through the passion of providing for a family.
“People was asking me why did I stop making music, it has always been my passion and will always be outside of my family”.
Rapper Mun Ruiz speaks of how he grew up listening to 2pac and other old school hip-hop artist who paved the way from the new generation of music to be as it is today. He describes his upbringing with one word, “Struggle”. Mun grew up In a small town in Texas called, Laredo which is a border town.
Rapper Mun expresses how his release No Sleep is based upon the lifestyle of truck drivers and the struggles there in. Rapper Mun Ruiz plans to be a major icon for the Latino rap community.
“I don’t look for clout I just love making music it’s a passion so when the chance is there to record a track I’ll drop it…”
