Dabi is one of the most influential artists from Sweetwater, TN. He is originally from Anderson, IN. Dabi creates alternative rap music. His latest project he is working on is called “New Beginnings,” which released on March 23rd, 2024. He stated that he releases music at least twice a month, remaining consistent with his work. He set a goal to achieve 50,000 streams on one of his songs in 2024 along with touching a stage to perform.
Dabi stated that his greatest experience as an artist is the process of making music, performing, and all of the above.
“It’s all amazing!”
He stated during his interview. He estimated that he travels twice a year performing and spreading the word of his creativity showing the world what he has to offer to the alternative rap genre. Eminem, j. Cole, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and XXXTentacion are the top five artists who influenced him to do music. Dabi hinted that he has some major features planned for 2024 and wants the world to be ready.
“Doing my first show was a big one, it was during prime Covid at a small town bar. It was pretty crazy, but other than that getting my own studio really set me off to be the artist I am today.”
He stated when asked what were some goals he achieved as an artist. 
His favorite lyrics from one of his releases are,
“Riding through the city, try not to feel me, I have been in the hills shit getting tricky, I’m Timmy turner bitch you icky Vicky, smoking on the loud, smoking on the sticky”.

His top five favorite mainstream artists are 21 Savage, Drake, J. Cole Kendrick Lamar, and Lil Baby. He let it be known it doesn’t have to be in the exact order. Dabi stated that he has been making music for 7 years now. He spends between 5-7 hours a day in the studio depending on the day. He also expresses his main support comes from his partner.
“My girl is really the biggest support I have with my music, and with life for sure, she helps me with a lot.”
Dabi let it be known that he won’t listen to NBA Youngboy, Playboi Cardi, or Lil Uzi Vert. He labeled them as the worst artists in the music industry. His advice to all upcoming artists is to get your own studio and learn how to mix and master your own music properly.
“So far I’ve only dropped one song as Dabi but when I was Outsider my favorite song was “Szns (feat. Tyk Dee)”
