NKP Nate Frog is an artist from Conroe, TX. He is classified as a versatile artist because he does hip-hop, rock, pop, country, and heavy metal. His most recent project features “Countretto” called “Go Figure.” Nate stated that he tries to make a release every month or so to remain consistent. One goal for 2024 he set is to make sure his family has some form of financial security.
Nate says that’s his greatest experience as an artist is having the ability to meet the humblest people when networking.
” You can’t get that.”
He says for the last year he has been traveling from state to state spreading his music. He elaborated on his greatest challenge as an artist, which is trust.
“Not all people are true with intentions.”
He spoke on how his grandfather influenced him to start making music.
“My grandfather, aka Paw Paw Big Joe. He’s the reason I picked up my first guitar when I was 7. Since then it’s been all music.”
Nate is a family oriented man because he said that he wanted to give and be the best that he can be for his family.
“I’ve gotten to meet and work with a lot of people I looked up to growing up, and that alone is a goal in itself.”
His most value lyric from the music he released so far is,
“Just winning. Since the beginning, now they pissed, I can feel it deep down in my kidney.” Nate was asked who was his top 5 artist in the music industry and he responded, “Jelly Roll & Tech N9ne are really big influences other than some of the greats like Ozzy , Kurt Cobain , Zach Wylde , Dimebag Darrel , Insane clown possie , Easy E , Snoop and Dr. Dre. I can go on and on.”
He has been recording and performing music since he was 14 years old. He stated that he has been in bands throughout middle and high school. Nate says he spends at least 1 hour in the studio a day regardless of the state of mind he is in.
“I’m always working on new ideas and collaborations.”
He wants all upcoming artists to know not to ever give up and continue being who you are.
“Don’t allow the industry to get to you, making yourself stronger.”
He said,
“My favorite song that’s I have isn’t out yet but will be out on all platforms June 1st, called, I won’t Fold. It’s that one that just is so inspirational.”
