“The song is about bringing awareness to the real life situations I’ve either been in or that I’m surrounded by. I wish I could change my reality and choose what happens around me so I would have more positive things to talk about in my music that has a great impact on me”.

“I done seen plenty n***as knife fight and they died”
One of the most Impactful lyrics recited within the chorus of the song gets the most attention from anyone who says they heard the song. Izzy made mention that he has been told by some of the people he grew up with that they feel the things he raps about aren’t factual.
Izzy responded within and interview, “I find it funny how people who think they know who you are but only who you were. I really can’t speak on everything I’ve seen within the last 7-8 years of my life rather experiencing it indirectly or directly. Regardless if anyone believes me or not I feel like it’s more blood shed in prison then it is in some wars. There aren’t any guns to protect yourself. It takes a different kind of man to be able to be up and close and personal in tense situations to where it ends tragic. Seeing this would effect any man when all you have time to do is think if you’ll make it out of prison or not. This thought alone would change a man’s perspective of how to conduct himself for survival. Allot of people that knew me or who I was wouldn’t understand this unless they have been in prison at a maximum security facility.”
After speaking these strong words Izzy explains how sensory adaptation & learn helpless are the blame of prisons being how they are.
“If the laws change and give people hope prison will change because without that light at the end of the of the tunnel why should anyone care of how prison is”.
This Music Video was shot on a cell phone with a high quality camera and edited on the same phone on a app called viva video. Was his response when he brought up controversial conversations that took place via livestream on social media with a common critic.
“Who ever it was said that everyone who breaks the law need to be punished, my response was my sentence is my punishment I shouldn’t have to endure a daily punishment with no form of rehabilitation and for people like them to expect anyone to be better I don’t see it.
He went on a passionate rant once asked to elaborate more. Though everyone doesn’t understand his perspective he also understand he can’t change how anyone feels. He made mention that he wants people to see where he is now and my accomplishments versus where he was and who he was.
“He don’t care bout the code of the street if he tried”
Another lyric from the song awareness strikes the attention of everyone. We asked Izzy to explain what this means and his response was,
“I mean that it’s so many people who come to prison and pretend to be anything or anyone they can but we all know who is real when it’s time to be held accountable meaning that n****s will tell on you if they had the opportunity or if they were pressured into it. This lyric is supporting what it feels like to be betrayed by your own who claim they are street but have no street morals”
