Pnb Rock, the Philadelphia rapper who is most known for his 2016 hit “selfish,” was fatally shot during a robbery at the Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles restaurant in the South part of L.A on Monday afternoon, Law enforcement told reporters with L.A. Times.
Capt. Kelly Munoz of the Los Angeles police stated the shooting happened around 1:15 p.m. at the famous eatery on Main street and Manchester Avenue. She would not identify the victim when asked.
Rock, at 30 years of age, whose real name was Taking Allen was with his girlfriend at the time of the shooting. Rumors state that his girlfriend had posted a location-tagged photo in a since deleted Instagram post.
Munoz said a suspect pulled out a fire arm demanding that everybody’s items in the restaurant. Check out the interview below.

Sources have told The Times that Rock was targeted for all of his jewelry. Munoz stated that the victim was shot immediately by the robbers of the restaurant.
“He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a gateway car and then fled the parking lot,” she said.
Muniz reported that the victim was taken to the hospital and was prenounced dead at 1:59 p.m.
Investigators will be reviewing evidence gained from the surrounding buisness establishments along with the footage of the restaurant the shooting took place in.
This evidence will be used to identify the shooter.
On Dec. 9, 1991, Rock was born in Philadelphia. It has been documented that Rock told Paper Magazine he was inspired to make music at the age of 19 years old. Drake inspired him with his decade defining album “Take Care.”
These recent events have shocked the music industry along with his fans.
